Frequently Asked Questions
Waxing
How often should I get waxed or sugared?
This depends on where you are in your hair removal journey—initially, every two weeks for about three months. This allows your hair to enter the same hair growth cycle. Once all of your hairs are in the same hair growth cycle, we can move to once a month or even 6 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows and your preference.
How long must my hair be?
Waxing needs to be at least the length of a grain of rice. Sugaring needs to be at least the length of half a grain of rice.
Do you recommend wax or sugar?
If your hair is longer, waxing is less painful than sugaring. Otherwise, sugaring usually gets better results.
Is hair removal painful?
We are removing hair, so yes, it is a painful process. Over time, it will become less painful. There are also things you can do to make it less painful.
